It's time! Our annual beach shoot is comming up. Once we get past Labor Day the beach crowds have reduced dramatically but we still have warm weather in September which makes it an ideal time to head out for some photographic fun time in the salt and the sun. These trips are always a blast for everyone, and we get some great images!

We have all heard how AI is going to destroy photography as we know it. While there may be some real threats in the areas of photojournalism or scientific photography, AI can actually be an incredibly powerful tool for portrait photographers. This workshop will attempt to demonstrate that concept through the application of a powerful but easy to use and inexpensive program called ArtSpace AI.

This year, we’ll take advantage of the festival’s energy for a street‑photography outing. We’ll meet on the top floor of the HCID Parking Garage at 350A Dutton Street. (NOTE: For some reason, Meetup will not let this location be entered; GPS apps like Waze, Apple Maps, and Google Maps can find it, though.) The top level is usually less crowded, making it easier to find one another, and it offers a great vantage point for skyline shots. FYI Sunset is at 8:12 p.m.
